April Fool's Review: Rampage Pits Two Giants Against Each Other For A Giant Film

It seems like Dwayne Johnson has given up trying to look diverse, and just accepted his fate as the greatest action hero for the new generation. Rampage is a video game movie about animals who are experimented on and grow to enormous size, and the one man big enough to punch back. Suffice it to say, it's real fun.

There aren't very many pictures I can show of this movie without spoiling it in a major way, since it consists of 67 seconds of exposition followed by ninety minutes of wall-to-wall action, and then one softcore sex scene between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel at the end. But here is a behind-the-scenes shot of one of the mocap actors, Arnold Schwarzenegger (looking very small next to a peak fitness Dwayne Johnson).

I don't want to talk about this movie anymore, since there's not much to say. Even the writers knew that, with only 25 lines of dialogue in the entire script. As always, John Travolta is legendary as the damsel in distress, and Dwayne Johnson holds his own well alongside his fellow monstrosities including Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Crews, Bautista, Van Damme, and Game Of Thrones' Hafþór Björnsson.
