An aged man, Zev Gutman (Christopher Plummer) is given a mission by old friend Max (Martin Landau). Track down the man responsible for the deaths of their families at Auschwitz. As his memory fails an he relies on Max's hand written note for guidance, Zev begins the long and difficult journey of revenge.
There's not much to say here other than go watch this movie, it's really good. The idea of an elderly man seeking revenge (no, not like Taken) is already solid but throw in a little dementia and you have an instant classic. Plummer is excellent, as is Landau in one of his last performances. It's well written with all the ups and downs that Zev has to face.

Remember isn't an intense action thriller, though at times it feels like it, more so it is an exploration of revenge, of loyalty and of aging. It's Schindler's List meets 90 year old Bourne and it's one of the best films I've seen all year. Do yourself a favour and check it out.
