Review: Commando Is The Definitive Arnold Production

Commando is as Schwarzenegger as it gets. Shirtless action scenes, one mans decimation of a small nation, incredible one liners, a stupid amount of gunfire and a killer score. Truly it is something that must be seen before it can be believed.

John Matrix (Schwarzenegger) has retired to his private home following a long and grandiose military career. He like to spend time with his daughter Jenny (Alyssa Milano). But his perfect life is shattered into a thousand pieces when Bennett (Vernon Wells) invades his home and kidnaps Jenny. Matrix is given an ultimatum, overthrow the leader of a country, one he helped put in power. The clock is ticking and every minute he wastes puts his daughter in more danger.

As I said before, this is THE Schwarzenegger film. It has some beautiful one liners, great action and top Arnold. There's not much more to say about it. The plot isn't anything special, and the acting and characters aren't exactly memorable. But that's not why you're watching this movie, you're watching it for gratuitous violence and an absurd amount of jokes.

That's all I've got, check it out for sure. You're bound to have fun and, if you somehow don't, you probably lost that ability decades ago.
