Review: Hercules In New York, There Are No Gods Or Kings, Only Bad

Here it it, the cinematic debut of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Is it an over the top action movie? Does it involve copious explosions and extensive violence? Not quite...

Hercules (A badly dubbed Arnold Schwarzenegger), in direct defiance of his father Zeus, leaves Mt Olympus and travels to the world of man, making his way to New York. After befriending the gratingly annoying Pretzie (Arnold Stang), Hercules has a number of misadventures including boxing a bear, battling gangsters and just being generally bad.
Hercules In New York is a laugh out loud movie, but I get the feeling it wasn't intentional. Between an egregious bear costume, awful acting and a bizarre plot, there's no reason to watch this movie. While Schwarzenegger is perfectly cast, visually speaking, as a demi-god.

This is an undeniably bad movie. It has some pretty funny moments on account of its awfulness and aside from them, there's no reason to watch this movie, that is all.
