You may know his from Commando, Terminator, Predator and more. Known as much for his accent as he is for his muscles, he has been called the most perfectly developed man in the history of the world by more than just me. He's a 7 time Mr Olympia winner and has one of the greatest cinematic libraries ever seen. The Governator, The Running Man, the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Born 70 years ago in a small Austrian town, a young Arnold Schwarzenegger never could have guessed the impact he would have on the world of cinema. From his less than stellar beginnings in Hercules In New York in 1970, Schwarzenegger quickly rose to fame thanks to the seminal fantasy classic, Conan The Barbarian, and one of the greatest sci-fi films in history, The Terminator. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Between starring roles in one of the longest running franchises, showing off his comedy chops alongside Danny DeVito and willingly mocking the very thing that made him famous in Last Action Hero. While for every True Lies there's a Batman And Robin, for every Judgement Day there's a Junior, even in the bad things he's immensely watchable and wholly enjoyable.
Its been a great 48 years, 48 years that have given us some of the greatest films and one liners to ever grace the silver screen. In celebration of this long and storied career, I'll be bringing as much Arnold as I can as we build up to T2's big screen re-release. Here's to one of cinemas finest, long may he reign.
