Review: The Mummy Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor Is A Deplorable Excuse For A Movie

With a bizarrely recast main character and a director who left his talent behind in the 90's, the third film in The Mummy franchise isn't just dead on arrival, it was never alive in the first place.

There is a plot, it is awful. There is a mummy, he is boring. Rick (Brendan Fraser) and his family return just in time for an undead Jet Li to rise from the after life. Unsurprisingly there's a secret order trying to prevent this from happening, equally unsurprisingly, they fail. Then there's some yetis, a big old battle in a Chinese desert, the Chinese army is involved for some reason and basically it's a half baked mess of a movie.

Just don't. It's bad, a colossal waste of time and might be one of the most dull and boring adventure films ever made. While Fraser and Li manage to be mildly amusing, they cannot save what is the definition of a train wreck.
