After directing the best thing Steven Seagal's ever been in and single handedly bringing Tommy Lee Jones career into mainstream cinema, Andrew Davis decided to muscle into Harrison Ford's busy schedule and create one of the best crime thrillers of all time.

Dr Richard Kimble (Ford) in falsely accused of his wife's murder and sentenced to death. En-route to prison an altercation between a prisoner and a guard quickly escalates to a crashing prison bus and a train derailment. Free of his chains and on the run, Kimble must prove his innocence by tracking down a mysterious one armed man. While he hunts his prey, he too is being hunted. Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) is hot on his trail, determined to see justice served at any cost.

The Fugitive never stops. It moves along at incredible pace, throwing information out with surprising clarity for a film of it's kind. It's got solid action, great direction and some of the best performances of both Ford's and Tommy Lee's careers. Harrison Ford is totally convincing as a man on the run and Tommy Lee is at is cynical best. An excellent twist in the third act caps off an already great movie.

To say any more would be to risk spoiling an excellent movie. If you haven't seen The Fugitive you should search every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse until you find a copy, it's definitely worth it.
